Duties
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual student needs
- Deliver engaging tutoring sessions across various subjects, including early childhood education, elementary, middle school, or high school
- Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instruction and facilitate interactive learning experiences
- Manage learning environments effectively, ensuring a safe, respectful, and productive space for all students
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to maximize understanding and retention
- Support students with special education needs by adapting lessons and employing inclusive teaching methods
- Maintain clear communication with parents, guardians, or program coordinators regarding student progress and areas for improvement
Experience
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching across diverse age groups
- Strong background in lesson planning tailored to different learning styles
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and experience working with children in educational settings
- Knowledge of learning technology platforms and digital tools used for remote or hybrid instruction
- Experience working with students with special needs or in early childhood education environments is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and colleagues
- Prior classroom experience in preschool or childcare settings is a plus
