We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting skilled tradespeople, helping with workshop maintenance, transporting materials or equipment as needed between client locations and performing day-to-day tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and relocating goods. They may also perform specialized tasks that require on-the-job training and the use of heavy and light equipment. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
This position's duties and responsibilities are in a mechanic shop setting with limited office requirements. It requires working outside in various weather conditions and exposure to loud noises and dust. Travel will be required based on organizational needs (locations, work sites, or client locations).
Requires standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and work areas.
- Support fabrication, assembly, or repair tasks as directed.
- Perform routine maintenance on shop equipment and tools.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist with inventory control and restocking supplies.
- Transport materials or equipment.
- Must have a valid drivers license
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a shop, warehouse, or construction environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
