Position: Pre-Approval Specialist / Loan Officer Assistant
Location: Jupiter, Florida (Hybrid Required)
Compensation: $70–80K base overtime eligibility
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

We’re seeking an experienced Pre-Approval Specialist / Loan Officer Assistant to support a high-volume, fast-moving mortgage branch. This role requires strong income analysis skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage borrowers from initial application through pre-approval.
Responsibilities:
• Calculate complex and self-employed income (Non-QM, layered, traditional)
• Manage lead intake, borrower applications, and document follow-up
• Structure files and issue accurate pre-approval letters
• Handle escalations and de-escalate borrowers when issues arise
• Provide weekend phone/on-call coverage
• Work in Encompass, Outlook, Excel, and CRM platforms
Will be pre-processing the loan
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of mortgage experience in a pre-approval or LOA
• Strong experience calculating complex income and processing
• Familiarity with Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM guidelines
• Hybrid availability in Jupiter, FL
• Ability to communicate clearly with borrowers and resolve issues
• Proficiency with Encompass preferred
• Florida MLO license preferred
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
