Job Duties
- Set-up, operate and observe machine in operation to meet order specifications, detect material defects and/or machine malfunctions
- Maintain all production and quality related reporting
- Responsible for the overall quality of the material and productivity of the line
- Comply with all plant safety rules and guidelines
- Operators must maintain their work areas, in order to keep a clean, safe and productive work area
- High school diploma or GED is necessary
- 1-3 years in manufacturing industry required, previous slitting experience is preferred. If applicants do not have Slitting experience, on-the-job training may be offered.
- Basic math, measurement, computer skills, and ability to read and follow directions.
- NMP employees must be able to repeatedly lift up to 20 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 35 lbs. as needed.
- Ability to follow all safety and health regulations
- A competitive base salary up to $ 24.88/hour (Depending on Experience)
