What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Setup position at National Management Resources Corporation?
Event Set-up
Shift available: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, some weekend work required
Events Set up crew member will be responsible for pulling all outside trash bins and taking trash to dumpster. They will help with recycling in all buildings and take it to dumpster. This crew member will also look at the calendar of events everyday and arrange all of the setups on campus. They will move tables and chairs around from building to building as needed driving a utility vehicle. Will have to move tables and chairs up and down stairs as needed. Will have to follow diagrams of set ups at times.
RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHERS
The National Management Resources Custodian has frequent encounters with students, faculty and staff throughout the campus. It is important to maintain a helpful, positive demeanor while interacting with these individuals. The Set up crew member reports directly to the Housekeeping Manager.
BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Some knowledge of institutional cleaning is desirable.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- Must be able to understand a calendar of events and follow a diagram
- Must be able to operate or learn to operate cleaning equipment
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull a variety of tools and equipment including tables, chairs, and trash
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Must be able to work within the industry without adverse allergic reaction to dust, dirt, cleaning solutions or other common materials encountered during the performance of duties.
- Ability to work within and uphold the philosophy of the institution, observe institutional regulations and cooperate fully in the operation of the institution.
