Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that our facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repairing various systems, as well as a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, such duties as required to ensure the facility or equipment (commercial foodservice ice machine) is maintained/cleaned in accordance with prescribed company standards:

The exact amount and type of services needed may vary from time to time or location to location. This position requires driving between locations, standing or walking the entire shift, and the use of stairs.

Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in the daily operations of our business. The role maintains cleaning and sanitizing machinery, equipment, changing water filters, all while making safety a top priority.

Duties

• Cleaning of surfaces/objects/machinery
• Utilize schematics to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding maintenance needs and project updates.
• Disinfecting surfaces/objects
• Disassembling, re-filling equipment
• Executing a test with a device before/after service
• Provide timely reporting after service
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Skills / Requirements

• Detail-oriented, reliable, responsible, and dependable
• Being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude
• Being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
• Likes to clean (No cleaning experience required!)
• Have your own reliable transportation - No DUI on driving record
• Available on-call basis (24 hour response time)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• The ability to work as a team member or independently and be self-motivated
• Work history in the past 12 months
• The ability to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions and procedures without direct supervision.*

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must pass OSHA 1291 Right to Know prior to contract
• Integrity and ability to work independently
• Track record of quality work, organizational skills, and precise record-keeping
