What are the responsibilities and job description for the Postdoctoral Fellow position in Neuroscience position at National Institutes of Health?
The Loh lab studies the mechanism and therapeutic use of neurotrophic factor-alpha1 in treating Alzheimer Disease and traumatic brain injury in mouse models. The research will explore the use of gene therapy, exosome technology and small molecules to treat these and other neurodegenerative disorders.
About the position
The lab is seeking a Ph.D., M.D. or M.D./PhD. fellow (U.S. or permanent resident, or foreign visiting scientist with less than 5 years since degree*) with some experience in neuroscience, such as mouse behavioral assays, neuroanatomy and biochemistry, to build on translating this exciting pre-clinical research to potential clinical trials. The position is open immediately. Training will be provided.
