National Imaging Specialists is a quality-centric, specialty radiology practice offering MRI, CT, and PET-CT imaging services, and we have proudly served our surrounding communities for the past 20 years. We serve a diverse array of clients including physician offices, research clinics, and personal injury firms. National Imaging Specialists is looking for a PET-CT Technologist to join our team full-time or part-time at our Pinellas Park location.
PET Technologist Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic PET examinations to guarantee the quality and continuity of patient care
- Safely perform the injection of radiopharmaceuticals
- Create imaging protocols and ensure the successful transfer of images after acquisition
- Provide protection for patient and self in accordance with radiation safety standards
- Other duties as assigned
Qualified candidates will possess the following credentials:
- Experience in the area of PET procedures
- Working knowledge of applicable PET scan technology is required
- CNMT or ARRT (N) is required
- Current Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (Nuc. Med) licensure is required
- IV skills required
- Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
