- Receiving and signing for deliveries. Inspecting deliveries to ensure they match order.
- Unloading deliveries from trucks.
- Comparing purchase orders with invoices and packing lists.
- Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
- Organizing and applying job identification labeling, storing received items in appropriate areas.
- Work with purchasing manager in updating inventory with received items.
- Communicating with vendors regarding delays or problems.
- Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc.
- Manage company tool check out and check in.
- Perform minor maintenance on tools and coordinate needed maintenance for larger tools and utility vehicles.
- Keep warehouse and outside storage and parking areas clean and orderly.
- Assist with truck stock and inventory.
- Pick up materials and equipment, deliver to jobsites as needed.
- Occasionally assist in sheet metal shop, some field operations, when needed.
- Requires valid drivers’ license. You must pass drug screen and background check.
