The Intern, United States (U.S.) Property Tax is responsible for assisting the Manager, U.S. Property Taxes with updating property tax assessments and payments on U.S. assets. The incumbent contributes occasionally to the review of state-assessed property valuations. Additionally, the role performs miscellaneous tasks, including other types of tax compliance as needed.

Major Responsibilities
- Pay property taxes to various authorities
- Assist with compiling annual property tax filings
- Review annual assessment notices and update internal records that rely on this information
- Perform clerical tasks associated with property tax payment processes
- Carry out other tasks as needed
- Demonstrates active listening
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Applies critical thinking
- Solves problems to create value
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to organize, multitask and prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Technical skills in other computer applications and systems*
- Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
- In pursuit of an Accounting, Taxation or Economics Bachelor's Degree
