Major Responsibilities
- Analyze locomotive onboard technology data to identify trends and root causes.
- Assist in creating locomotive fault alerts and rules using operational data.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations in Tableau or Power BI. *
- Collaborate with fleet leaders to create workscopes and process documentation.
- Support design updates for Locomotive technology or onboard schematics.
- Prepare and deliver monthly project updates to leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).*
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.*
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design platforms.*
- Understanding of coding and application development concepts.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
