Supervisor of Housekeeping and Laundry Services for NHC HealthCare Fort Oglethorpe

NHC HealthCare Fort Oglethorpe is looking for someone with supervisory experience and at least 2 years housekeeping/laundry experience in healthcare setting to join our great team as Supervisor of Housekeeping and Laundry Services.

Supervisor Of Housekeeping And Laundry Services Duties Include

• Ensure cleanliness of building includes sanitizing, trash removal, floor care, and more
• Creates and maintains safe working conditions for all
• Ensures laundry cleaned properly, clean linens are distributed, and personal clothing retuned according to schedule
• Ensures all housekeeping and laundry personnel are familiar with and follow all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
• Keeps accurate inventory of all supplies and equipment and orders more as needed
• Supervises/coaches laundry, housekeeping and floor care assistants
• Ensures adequate staffing to meet facility needs including hands-on responsibilities when needed
• Participates in center meetings for leaders
• Keeps administrator informed of housekeeping and laundry operations, problems, and suggested solutions
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years housekeeping/laundry experience in healthcare setting.
• Supervisory experience and bi-lingual Spanish strongly preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand standard English.
• Effective customer service skills.
• Compassion towards our patients and residents.
