Supervisor of Housekeeping and Laundry Services for NHC HealthCare Fort Oglethorpe
NHC HealthCare Fort Oglethorpe is looking for someone with supervisory experience and at least 2 years housekeeping/laundry experience in healthcare setting to join our great team as Supervisor of Housekeeping and Laundry Services.
Supervisor Of Housekeeping And Laundry Services Duties Include
- Ensure cleanliness of building includes sanitizing, trash removal, floor care, and more
- Creates and maintains safe working conditions for all
- Ensures laundry cleaned properly, clean linens are distributed, and personal clothing retuned according to schedule
- Ensures all housekeeping and laundry personnel are familiar with and follow all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
- Keeps accurate inventory of all supplies and equipment and orders more as needed
- Supervises/coaches laundry, housekeeping and floor care assistants
- Ensures adequate staffing to meet facility needs including hands-on responsibilities when needed
- Participates in center meetings for leaders
- Keeps administrator informed of housekeeping and laundry operations, problems, and suggested solutions
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years housekeeping/laundry experience in healthcare setting.
- Supervisory experience and bi-lingual Spanish strongly preferred.
- Must be able to read and understand standard English.
- Effective customer service skills.
- Compassion towards our patients and residents.
