PT Assisted Living Life Enrichment Assistant

🎨 Life Enrichment Assistant (Part-Time | ~20 Hours/Week)
📍 White Oak Manor Tryon Assisted Living

We’re looking for a dynamic and compassionate Life Enrichment Assistant to help enhance our residents’ quality of life through engaging, meaningful activities.

In this role, you’ll support both group and one-on-one programs that promote social connection, emotional well-being, cognitive stimulation, and physical movement—helping residents feel purposeful, connected, and at home each day.

What You’ll Do

♦ Assist in planning, setting up, and leading group and individual activities
♦ Encourage participation and adapt activities to meet residents’ needs
♦ Lead and assist with programs such as:
    ♦ Arts and crafts
    ♦ Brain games and memory activities
    ♦ Music programs and sing-alongs
    ♦ Chair exercises and movement activities
    ♦ Games, celebrations, and special events
♦ Transport residents to and from activities as needed
♦ Prepare and clean up supplies and activity spaces
♦ Observe and report changes in resident engagement, mood, or behavior
♦ Assist with documentation of participation per guidelines
♦ Support holiday events and community entertainment
♦ Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment
♦ Collaborate with nursing, therapy, volunteers, and families

Schedule

♦ Approximately 20 hours per week
♦ Includes a mix of weekdays and weekends
♦ Flexible scheduling based on team needs and Director approval
