White Oak Manor Charleston is seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Tech to work in our housekeeping department. Conveniently located at I-26 and University Avenue on the Trident Hospital campus, our facility is committed to delivering high-quality care and exceptional service to our residents. We are located on the bus line.
Position Details:
- Full-Time, time and a half pay for holidays worked
- Day Shift | Monday–Friday Schedule and every other weekend (days off during the week when you work a weekend shift)

Position Summary:Â On feet most of work time. Pushes, pulls, lifts cleaning supplies and equipment. Potential exposure when entering resident areas. Subject to reactions from heavy dust or housekeeping disinfecting solutions.
- Dry mops, wet mops, sweeps.
- Performs emergency housekeeping as needed.
- Strips floors and refinishes floors as needed.
- Keeps janitor closets neat and clean.
- Keeps mops and other supplies clean after each use.
- Stores equipment in proper areas.
- Reports supply and equipment needs for replenishing.
- Adheres to safety rules of the facility.
- Utilizes proper care and use of equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
