👩‍🍳 What's Cooking? Your Role at White Oak!

As a Dietary Aide/Cook, you'll have the opportunity to work in both positions, helping ensure our residents receive nutritious, delicious meals and exceptional service.

🍳 When Working as a Cook:

• Prepare and cook nutritious, appetizing meals according to established menus and recipes.

• Follow resident dietary restrictions and special diet requirements.

• Maintain proper food temperatures and safe food-handling practices.

• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and portion control.

• Keep food preparation areas clean, organized, and sanitary.

• Work alongside dietary team members to ensure meals are ready and served on time.

🍽️ When Working as a Dietary Aide:

• Assist with meal preparation, plating, and serving.

• Prepare meal trays according to resident preferences and dietary needs.

• Deliver and distribute meals in a friendly, professional manner.

• Assist with cleaning dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and dining areas.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures.

• Support the dietary team in keeping meal service running smoothly.

Available Shifts:

☀️ Early Shift: 5:00 AM–2:00 PM

🌤️ Late Shift: 11:00 AM–7:30 PM

IMPORTANT SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS:

✅ Must be available to work BOTH shifts.

✅ Must be willing to rotate between Dietary Aide and Cook duties.

✅ Must be flexible based on departmental scheduling needs.

✅ Full-Time Position Only.

This is a combined Dietary Aide/Cook position, not two separate job openings.
