About The Position

Are you ready to make a difference by improving processes and driving performance excellence? As an Associate Analyst in Process and Performance Improvement, you’ll identify and implement process enhancements that support our New England Electric organization. If you’re curious, passionate about problem-solving, and eager to make an impact, this role is perfect for you!

This is a hybrid role based in Waltham, MA.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll play a key part in helping every employee, customer, and stakeholder. Here’s what you’ll be up to:

  • Data-Driven Decisions: Support decision-making through data analysis, creating tools like Power BI reports and detailed process maps.
  • Process Improvement Initiatives: Participate in high-impact projects that align with our organizational goals, ensuring measurable outcomes and sustainable change.
  • Continuous Improvement Culture: Champion a culture of continuous improvement by engaging stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and managing change across departments.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to align process improvements with strategic priorities and technology roadmaps, building relationships at all levels.
  • Identify Inefficiencies: Spot process inefficiencies and work closely with functional teams to develop solutions that drive efficiency and maximize value.
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Conduct data collection and analysis to identify specific improvement opportunities, develop scoping documents, and determine project deliverables.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up with changing technologies and industry best practices to ensure we’re always improving.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree from an accredited institution preferably in data analytics, management information systems, project management, business, or a related field.
  • Graduated between May 2025 and June 2026
  • Ability to begin the National Grid Graduate Program on June 8, 2026, or July 13, 2026
  • Valid driver’s license required with a safe driving history that meets National Grid’s Safe Driver policy
  • Work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States (such as sponsorship for an H-1B, TN, O, L, STEM OPT, or other employment-based work authorization)

It would be awesome if you had

  • Experience in data analysis
  • Experience using Power BI
  • Experience using Six Sigma

Salary Range

Waltham, MA $67,000 - $79,000 a year

You must reside within our existing footprint, which includes contiguous states (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, and Vermont). Our hybrid working approach applies to all colleagues who have a role which has the flexibility to be done hybrid across the National Grid group. Operational requirements mean that not all roles are suitable for hybrid working. Managers are responsible for determining whether a role is conducive to hybrid working. A hybrid worker should also reside within a reasonable, commutable distance to their assigned primary office.
