About The Position
We are presently seeking to fill a Fleet Technician A (C Vacancy) position at our Watertown location, with a minimum starting pay rate of $37.81. Under direct supervision to perform ordinary types of repairs and maintenance work on vehicles and equipment, such as tires, brakes, lights, electrical, hydraulics, drivetrain, state inspections; and to assist Fleet Technicians of a higher grade.

Job Qualifications
The qualified candidate for this opportunity must possess:
- Valid New York State Inspection License (heavy duty, light duty and emissions) is preferred
- Valid Class A CDL License is preferred or ability to obtain one within one year
- Must have a minimum of five (5) valid ASE certifications, including but not limited to T-1, T-2, T-4, T-5, T-8 or Equivalent is preferred
- Basic computer knowledge required.
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license required with a safe driving history that meets National Grid’s Safe Driver policy.
- Must own professional grade automotive repair tools as required by company.
