GRANTS SUPPORT SERVICES SPECIALIST

The person in this position will be an employee of Operations Services, Inc., a contractor to the Institute for Museum and library Services (IMLS).The position will report to the OSI Director of Logistics. The person will perform duties as a Grants Support Services Specialist for administration of IMLS grants throughout the grant life-cycle, encompassing- Pre-Award Support; Award Processing; Post-Award Monitoring/Administration; Administrative Change Requests; Data Entry & Analysis in eGMS; Preparing Reports & Correspondence. This position requires a person- who can function at a professional level with minimal supervision and comfortable working remotely; with ability to understand and implement agency procedures and regulations; is detail oriented; can plan and process work after initial instructions and meet deadlines; and good knowledge of the federal grants regulation in:
Title 2 Code of Federal Regulations Part 200.

- Experience (minimum):
- 2 years in administration of federal government GRANTS for a federal agency in accordance with the federal grants regulation in 2 CFR Part 200 (Code of Federal Regulations Title 2 Part 200 – Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards);
- Experience in using the federal Electronic Grants Management System (eGMS);
- Experience in administration throughout the grant life-cycle (Pre-Award; Award Processing; Post-Award Monitoring; Administrative Change Requests; eGMS Data management & Analysis);
>Government employee as GS-1109 (Grants Management) or GS-1102 (Contracting); or
>Employee of a contractor to a federal government agency if you performed grants administration for the agency equivalent to GS-1109 duties; or
>Combination of government and contractor experience.
