What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Warehouse Support position at National Food Group?
Since 1990, National Food Group has specialized in food service solutions for K-12 and higher education, healthcare and correctional facilities, casinos, entertainment, and many other industries. National Food Group is growing quickly and we’re looking to add a part-time Warehouse Support team member!
Your role as Warehouse Support is to maintain and organize our warehouse, including dry and freezer storage. You will be working together with the other warehouse team members to track inbound and outbound inventory, and to track food samples sent to customers.
Your essential duties:
- Stock, maintain, and organize equipment and inventory in a small warehouse
- Maintain and organize a walk-in freezer and dry storage
- Pack sample boxes, create FedEx and UPS shipping labels, and track outbound shipments
- Order and maintain sample supplies
Your education:
- High school education
You must be able to:
- Organize and prioritize work and requested tasks
- Communicate effectively across various platforms including email, instant messaging, phone, and face-to-face interactions
- Lift 50 lb. cases and reach up to a six-foot-tall shelf
- Effectively use Microsoft Office
Work environment:
Works in a temperature-controlled office and warehouse environment (with the exception of when items are being retrieved from the freezer.)
