What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Subcontractor position at National Flood and Fire Network?
National Flood and Fire Network (NFFN) is currently expanding its network of qualified independent subcontractors for residential and commercial restoration, mitigation, and repair projects across Morristown, NJ, and surrounding communities. We are seeking professional trade contractors specializing in drywall installation/finishing, interior and exterior painting, and general interior reconstruction to join our approved subcontractor roster.
Trade Scope & Responsibilities
- Drywall & Plaster: Hanging sheetrock, taping, mudding, spackling, water-damage repair, wall patches, and specialty texture matching.
- Painting: Surface preparation, priming, interior/exterior finish painting, trim work, door/casing painting, and wall restoration.
- General Finishing: Installation of trim, baseboards, dust containment setup, job site daily cleanup, and punch-list completions.
Qualification & Compliance Requirements
All working subcontractors must provide and maintain current compliance documentation prior to job assignment:

Minimum Standard / Description
Contractor License
Active NJ State Contractor License or municipal trade license.
General Liability Insurance
Minimum $1,000,000 occurrence limit with Element Response Team LLC dba National Flood and Fire Network listed as Certificate Holder & Additional Insured.
Workers' Compensation
Active Workers' Compensation Insurance policy
Tax Identification
Signed W-9 Form (Current Tax Year).
Subcontractor Agreement
Completed NFFN Master Subcontractor Agreement and Subcontractor Information Sheet.
