Role Description
This is an on-site role located in San Antonio, TX, for a Business Relationship Manager. The BRM will assist in fostering and managing relationships with clients, addressing client inquiries, and providing tailored financial solutions. Daily responsibilities include supporting client communications, conducting account reviews, preparing reports, and collaborating with colleagues to meet business goals. The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) is a detail‑oriented, highly organized administrative professional. This role is essential to ensuring smooth operations and exceptional client service across assigned Advisor’s books of business. This position focuses heavily on administrative processing, data accuracy, and task execution.The role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial services and relationship management while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Administrative Support
The BRM is responsible for preparing all meeting materials and completing the administrative and operational tasks that support advisors and ensure a seamless client experience. Responsibilities include:
Meeting Preparation
- Prepare all pre‑meeting materials.
- Print and assemble meeting packets when applicable.
Life Insurance Servicing
- Process beneficiary changes, payment updates, address changes, and general servicing requests.
- Coordinate with carriers to obtain required forms, track progress, and confirm completion.
Annuity Servicing
- Process annuity servicing tasks such as beneficiary updates, payment changes, and general maintenance.
- Track outstanding items and follow up with carriers as needed.
Account Operations
- Account Opening: Prepare and submit new account paperwork; ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Account Transfers: Initiate and track ACAT and non‑ACAT transfers; follow through until completion.
- Account Maintenance: Process updates such as address changes, beneficiary updates, bank link changes, and other account modifications.
- Money Movement Coordination:
- Prepare and submit requests for distributions, contributions, wires, ACH transfers, and internal transfers.
- Verify documentation requirements and ensure timely processing.
- Statement Gathering: Collect statements and documents needed for reviews, planning, or advisor requests.
- Client Reporting: Prepare and send monthly or quarterly reports to clients as needed.
401(k) Review Support
- Pull statements, update plan details, and prepare review materials for advisors.
General Client Service Tasks
- Handle miscellaneous administrative tasks assigned by advisors.
- Maintain accurate client records in Wealthbox and ensure all updates are entered promptly.
- Track all service requests to completion and maintain organized workflows.
Qualifications
- 3 years of administrative or client service experience in financial services (preferred).
- Life and Health Insurance Licensed (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Wealthbox experience a plus).
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, advisor‑support environment.
