Our Property Preservation Department has an opening for an Estimate Coordinator. As an Estimate Coordinator, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating information provided in estimates and bids, ensuring reasonableness and accuracy. This process includes assessing dimensions, cubic yards, necessary materials, and photographic evidence, as well as determining alternative solutions for estimates if the contractor fails to meet all quality standards. Additionally, it requires verifying pricing through cost estimation tools and/or other appropriate methods.
Requirements
· Analyze estimates/bids and communicate with reps for missing information and calculation of costs
· Solutioning the estimates through other avenues if information from contractors is not received
· Provide timely and accurate estimates to our clients
· Enter and update cost estimates
· Utilize investor/insurer and client requirements to confirm estimates are accurate and submitted
Requirements Education and Experience: A High School diploma required; some college preferred. 1-2 years of related work experience preferred. General construction knowledge and property component background helpful but not required, cost estimate experience preferred. Basic understanding of residential construction, building materials, associated terminology and cost estimates.
This position is full-time remote with an option to work hybrid or in office from our NH office. Remote locations are available in the following states: AL, AR, DE, FL, GA, IA, KS, MS, NC, NH, SC, TX and VT
