What are the responsibilities and job description for the Center Manager position at NATIONAL FIELD ARCHERY ASSOCIATION FOUNDATION?
The NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center (NEYAC) is seeking a Center Manager to help lead day-to-day operations, support staff, and strengthen community engagement at one of the premier archery facilities in the country.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work closely with a small team to keep programs, events, and daily operations running smoothly. You’ll also play an important role in building relationships within the Yankton community and supporting the continued growth of archery in the region.

· Leading and supporting staff in daily operations and programming
· Helping coordinate events, leagues, and facility rentals
· Building relationships with local organizations, schools, and partners
· Collaborating with internal staff on marketing and outreach efforts
· Assisting with new program development and community initiatives
· Supporting a positive, organized, and welcoming facility environment
Leadership & Operations
· Provide day-to-day leadership and support to full-time, part-time, and seasonal staff
· Assist with scheduling, onboarding, and staff development
· Help ensure smooth daily operations and a high-quality guest experience
Programs, Events & Facility Use
· Oversee scheduling and use of facility spaces for programs, events, and rentals
· Support the planning and execution of community and archery events
· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for all users
Community Engagement & Outreach
· Represent NEYAC within the Yankton community and surrounding region
· Build relationships with local organizations, schools, and partners
· Support outreach efforts that grow participation and awareness
Marketing & Growth (Collaborative)
· Work alongside marketing staff to promote programs, events, and offerings
· Contribute ideas for new programs and initiatives that increase engagement
Partnerships & Funding Support
· Assist with partnership development and community collaborations
· Support grant and funding efforts alongside leadership (no prior grant experience required)
Collegiate Program Support
· Provide oversight and support for the Mount Marty University Archery team
· Assist with recruitment efforts and coordination between the team and NEYAC programming
· Help strengthen the connection between collegiate archery and community programs
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, recreation management, or a related field (preferred, not required)
· 3 years of experience in leadership, event coordination, or operations
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Comfortable managing multiple projects in a team environment
· Proficiency with basic technology and Microsoft Office programs
· Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and occasional travel for events.
· Physically able to perform event-related tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs
