- High School diploma or GED
- BICSI certification a plus
- 2-4 Years experience with all phases of structured cabling installations
- Current valid Drivers License
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Must pass background check
- Documentation skills
- Works independently
- Knowledge of installation and testing of copper cable, CAT 5e, CAT 6, CAT 6a, Coax, optical fiber, audio visual installations, cross connects, cutover, raceway/tray/ conduit installs
- Verifies service by terminating and testing connectivity of equipment and cables
- Documents network by labeling and recording test results
- Maintains network by troubleshooting and repairing outages
- Maintains safe work environments
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and advanced training seminars.
- Must provide your own hand tools
