This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various systems and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety in a commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Requirements
- Mechanical & Electrical Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and repair motors, belts, rollers, consoles, resistance systems, hydraulic/pneumatic components.
- Preventive Maintenance: Cleaning, lubrication, calibration, and inspections for heavy-use fitness equipment.
- Parts Sourcing & Replacement: Experience ordering/installing OEM and aftermarket parts
- Safety Compliance: Knowledge of grounding, wiring, and safe handling of high-voltage components (especially tanning units)
- Multi-Brand Knowledge: Comfortable cross-training on Precor, Life Fitness, Matrix, HydroBeds, tanning equipment.
2. General Maintenance:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
- Maintain an inventory of tools and materials needed for maintenance tasks.
- Ensure that maintenance work complies with safety standards and company policies.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Report any major issues or required repairs to management promptly.
- Assist in developing and implementing maintenance schedules and procedures.
4. Mobile Service Coverage: Able to travel between multiple clubs within 100 miles.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, with a strong emphasis on plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance in a commercial environment.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, plumbing, electrical codes, and safety regulations.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation required for first few months and then company work truck will be provided
- Must be willing to travel locally but no overnight stays will be required
- Proficient in English
- Trade Licenses a plus

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
