What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Accountant position at NATIONAL ENTERTAINMENT NETWORK LLC?
National Entertainment Network LLC is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. This full-time position requires regular attendance at our Louisville, CO office and will contribute significantly to our success by performing General Ledger duties in accordance with GAAP.
This individual will be responsible for operating as a key player in month-end closing, maintaining our fixed asset ledger, and performing necessary analytical reviews. Additionally, they will oversee the inventory management process and serve as the main point of contact and liaison. The ideal candidate will possess intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel and basic to intermediate skills in MS Word and Outlook.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares journal entries, reconciles financial statements, and ensures data accuracy in accordance with GAAP
- Plays a key role in month-end closing, preparing periodic reporting schedules, and disclosures, and in the year-end audit process
- Reviews and maintains the fixed asset general ledger in accordance with GAAP
- Works closely with accounting managers and controllers regarding capitalization policies for installations, refurbishments, and replacement of fixed assets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college
- A minimum of two years of accounting and fixed asset accounting experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
