The ideal candidate will be passionate about nutrition education, skilled at presenting to diverse populations, and able to create interactive, informative, and culturally relevant sessions that promote healthy living. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFacilitate nutrition workshops on topics such as healthy eating, chronic disease prevention, balanced meals, and label reading.Conduct hands-on food demonstrations showcasing simple, affordable, and nutritious recipes.Deliver evidence-based nutrition education in an engaging and accessible manner.Provide participants with practical tips, resources, and take-home guidance to support healthy habits.Prepare all materials, ingredients, and equipment needed for workshops and demos.Ensure safe food handling and maintain a clean, organized workspace before and after sessions.Communicate regularly with NYEG’s Director of Operations regarding scheduling, supplies, and program needs. REQUIREMENTSRegistered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required.Strong knowledge of nutrition, public health, and community education.Experience leading workshops, cooking demos, or group nutrition sessions.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Reliable, organized, professional, and comfortable working independently.
