JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsibilities: Data entry for purchase orders
including raw materials, parts, machines, equipment, supplies, services,
etc. Place orders for products based on current inventory needs and
track shipments from manufacturing locations. Contact suppliers for
production information, availability, order status, price, and terms.
Copy, distribute, organize, and file purchasing documents. Establish and
maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors. Keep accurate vendor
information records. Work closely with relevant departments, including
the warehouse staff, to compare deliveries with purchase orders to
identify discrepancies. Assist with inventory management including
year-end count, receiving, assigning stock (components/parts) to active
projects/jobs, and determining which parts require Quality Assurance and
MSDS labeling. Support the production team with data processing. Greet
and welcome visitors in a professional manner Maintain visitor log and
issue badges. Other duties as needed. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND
QUALIFICATIONS: 1 to 2 years of experience in a purchasing position
Required Skills: Excellent organizational skills. Proficient skills w/MS
Office Excel. Mechanical knowledge a plus. Strong attention to detail.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision. Great time management skills.
Strong Problem-solving Abilities. Solid Analytical Skills. Relationship
management. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units
of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
