Hourly Wage: $16.00 PLUS Commission Base annual wage ($33,280.00) Annual Commission (Typical low $8,500.00 - $47,000 *not limited) Individual compensation may vary based on experience and individual performance.

Summary:

The Sales Support/Inbound Sales position provides support to sales team by performing a variety of administrative tasks. In addition, responds to website contact forms and emails from potential customers seeking to purchase employer drug testing, individual drug testing and any other related drug testing and drug free workplace products or services. Priority consideration will be given to individuals that can take on other responsibilities which may include working with team members and/or support vendors in the troubleshooting of facility, office, computer, or software issues.

Essential Functions:

  • Process web orders in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Send results in an accurate manner and ensure confidentiality.
  • Contact and Qualify leads.
  • Sales onboarding of new clients, call-in clients, or call-in individuals (follow-up with customers).
  • Review Sales Records daily for errors or “red flags”.
  • Back-up for Drug and Alcohol Testing Specialist including answering sales calls.
  • Ensure the adequacy of sales-related documents or materials.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the Department of Transportation regulations 49 CFR part 40 and other regulations specific to the DOT modality.
  • Accurately enter customer information into all programs i.e.: Claritysoft, i3, Intuit, etc.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding their order status and product information requests.
  • Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested.
  • Monitor the team’s progress, identify opportunities for improvement, and propose solutions.
  • Research issues that arise from sales or results reporting and coordinate responses as needed with supervisor.
  • Answer questions explain products and services, close sales, complete orders-process credit cards, resolve issues and manage conversations for positive outcomes.
  • Locating collection facilities for testing and process protocols as necessary; this includes preparing collection site or donor packages to mail in support of sales team orders.
  • Assist VP of Business Development as needed and directed.

Competencies:

  • Strong phone presence and experience handling large volume of inbound calls per day.
  • Communication proficiency - Strong listening skills.
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently complete data entry.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a sales/office environment while maintaining a sharp attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Experience working with Claritysoft, or similar CRM preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education:

  • Minimum 2 years college (Preferred) Business Administration or relevant field

Experience:

  • Experience in the drug testing industry a plus but not required.
  • Proven inside sales experience (minimum 2 years sales/sales support experience)

  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
  • This is basically a sedentary role which requires long periods of sitting, but also may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. It may be necessary for the employee to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Expected Hours of Work:

Full Time: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 9am-6pm; Tuesday 8:00am – 6pm. Periodically Team Meetings will be held in person for the entire team and begin at 7:15am. All meetings are mandatory. After 90 days, this work schedule will include a flex day (paid day off) every other week and the hours may be slightly modified to allow for the flex day. Participation in the annual meeting held on a Saturday in January is mandatory.
