Role Description The Warehouse Associate role at National Design Mart is a full-time, on-site position based in Cincinnati, OH. This team member supports daily warehouse operations, including receiving shipments, unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and preparing orders for customer pick-up or delivery. Responsibilities include safely operating warehouse equipment, staging and packing materials, labeling and tracking products, and maintaining a clean, orderly work area. The Warehouse Associate collaborates closely with sales and logistics staff to ensure accurate, timely movement of flooring and related products. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Qualifications
- Experience with Shipping & Receiving, including checking in deliveries, verifying paperwork, and organizing incoming and outgoing orders.
- Proficiency in Packing and Unloading materials, with the ability to handle flooring and other products safely and efficiently.
- Ability to operate a Forklift and Pallet Jack or willingness to obtain certification and training provided by the employer.
- Basic inventory and order-tracking skills, including counting, labeling, and recording stock accurately.
- Ability to lift and move materials safely, stand for extended periods, and work in a warehouse environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills, with a reliable attendance record.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior warehouse or retail flooring experience is a plus.
