We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Keller located in Fenton, MO, for a Dental Lab Technician III (Ceramist).
The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions of the Position:
- Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
- Metal finish and fitting.
- FCZ contour, blend and occlusion
- Fire at the correct temperature and for the appropriate amount of time
- Stain and Glaze porcelain
- Add on when necessary
- Steam clean required items
- Place units back onto dies, back onto models
- Return items to proper pan
- Complete cases according to work ticket schedule, notify supervisor of late cases
- Scan and initial cases as required
- Occasionally perform custom shade taking, custom staining and tooth tattooing
- Clean work area daily
- Follow all safety rules and regulations as well as standard operating procedures
- All other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Detail oriented
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to make decisions within this position involving deviation from standard operating procedures must be addressed with immediate supervisor and/or department head. This includes the rejection of late cases and those not acceptable to standards.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- This technician has a minimum of 5 years of experience and is skilled in one or more of the skills associated with a Dental Laboratory Technician.
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
- Ovens
- Sandblasting unit
- Steam cleaner
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
