Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Heumann Topeka located in Topeka, KS, for a Dental Lab Technician III (Ceramist).
The regular hours for this position are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
- Completely read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
- Choose correct porcelain.
- Build to correct contour, blend and occlusion.
- Complete cases according to work ticket schedule, notify supervisor of late cases.
- Scan and initial cases as required.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations as well as standard operating procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Average dexterity as determined by analysis.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to make decision within this position involving deviation from stand operating procedures must be addressed with immediate supervisor and/or department head. This includes the rejection of late cases and those not acceptable to standards. Employee discretion is to be used for ordering needed supplies and safety equipment.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Preferred-High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have 3-5 years of experience as a Dental Laboratory Technician and is skilled in one or more of the tasks associated with a Dental Laboratory Technician.
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
- Hot ovens, sandblasting unit, steam cleaner
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit for long durations of time.
- Produce cases as per fixed time schedules and required number of units.
