Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other specialized equipment to perform precise electrical work.
- Work on low voltage and high voltage systems safely while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure seamless integration of electrical components during renovation or new construction projects.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and technical manuals; implement effective solutions promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted for compliance and future reference.
Experience
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong background in construction site environments.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low/high voltage systems.
- Familiarity with NEC standards, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools for installation tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely on construction sites while managing multiple projects efficiently.
- Additional handyman or frame carpentry experience is a plus for versatile project support.
