Role Description
National Coney Island is hiring full-time and part-time; Line Cook's at several of our locations. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality menu items, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards, and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Additional tasks include assisting with food preparation tasks and contributing to an excellent customer dining experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety practices
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen staff
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare dishes consistently while maintaining quality standards
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred but not required
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
