Job Description: Position Description: Designs, develops, and maintains robust automated test scripts for Web reliability, using Selenium automation framework with Java. Performs regression testing and accelerates software delivery, using Selenium with test management and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools. Tests and validates applications that rely on unstructured or semi-structured data, ensuring correct data storage and retrieval of non-relation systems, using SQL and NoSQL databases. Tests Web applications and webservices (REST APIs). Applies Quality Assurance (QA) engineering and software development concepts in QA related tasks, test cases, and functional automation. Tracks defects and issues, and works with team members to ensure resolution. Participates in defect triage and production release deployment verification. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications. Primary Responsibilities: Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts. Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms. Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives. Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation. Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives. Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project. Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Technology and Management, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (or closely related occupation) developing and maintaining test automation framework in a financial services environment, using Selenium, Cucumber, Junit, and Maven. Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Technology and Management, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (or closely related occupation) developing and maintaining test automation framework in a financial services environment, using Selenium, Cucumber, Junit, and Maven. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) analyzing and integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines, using Jenkins. DE participating in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) -- developing test automation, and executing innovative automated solutions from release-to-release and sprint-to-sprint according to financial services standards, security requirements, software development quality best practices, and Agile methodologies; and performing manual, automated, and integration testing, using JEST, Insomnia, Rest API, Selenium, or Type-Script frameworks. DE building automation frameworks, using Java, HTML, JSON, Junit, and Maven; and building automation scripts consisting of Selenium Web driver and Selenium Grid for automation, using Cucumber.
