Role Description
This is a hybrid (mostly remote) psychologist role based in Washington, DC/Maryland. The responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, providing counseling and mental health support, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and developing personalized wellness strategies for clients. The psychologist will play a key role in addressing the behavioral and psychological components of weight management and overall well-being.
Qualifications
- Ability/experience working with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong sense of curiosity and compassion for patients
- Experience/training in psychology, health/medical focus a plus
- Understanding of Medicine and its intersection with psychology in wellness and weight management
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills - with patients, colleagues
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) or an equivalent clinical psychology qualification.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist in the District of Columbia/Maryland.
