Role Description The Senior Commodity Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Frisco, TX, responsible for managing strategic sourcing and procurement activities for assigned commodities. - Demonstrated expertise in Supplier Evaluation and Supplier Management, with the ability to assess performance, quality, and risk across multiple suppliers.
- Strong capabilities in Contract Negotiation and Purchasing to secure favorable terms, manage agreements, and ensure reliable supply.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret cost structures, market data, and performance metrics, supporting data-driven sourcing decisions.
- Experience in commodity management, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are beneficial.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
- Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced setting, manage multiple priorities, and drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements.
