At National Carwash Solutions, our Intern positions provide opportunity for students who are currently pursuing an education in Engineering to get hands-on experience working with our professional staff.
We are currently seeking candidates to participate in our 2025 program with potential option for a Co-op!
Job Duties:
- Assist Engineering team with moving initiatives forward including evaluations and recommendations to help improve products and processes
- Assist senior level staff with documentation of products and processes including product technical specification, cut sheets, and manufacturing procedures
- Perform first principal engineering evaluation of products and processes for review by senior level staff for implementation
- Utilizes knowledge of steel manufacturing, engineering practices, mathematics, and other physical sciences to support manufacturing; and
- Self-check and ensure work for completeness, accuracy, compliance to standards and manufacturability
- Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies
- Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time
Qualifications:
- Completion of college level course work in an engineering related field with emphasis on Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
- Proficient using SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, Solid Edge, ProE, or Creo design software
- Demonstrated ability to be accurate and consistent with details
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills
- Thrives working in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer focused attitude
- Ability to work in a team environment
Physical Requirements:
- Must stoop, bend, reach, walk; perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull or do fine manipulations
- Required to stand or sit for prolonged periods
- Intermittently lift light to medium weight up to 50 lbs.
- May perform duties requiring employee to intermittently bend and twist
