Full Job Description

National Carriers is hiring CDL-A drivers for our Holland, Michigan Dedicated Fleet. Drivers primarily haul National Beef freight throughout Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia and Ohio.

This position offers a $250 daily pay guarantee for experienced drivers, average weekly gross earnings of $1,500–$1,750, no-touch freight and flexible home-time options. Recent CDL school graduates may qualify for this dedicated opportunity after completing training and being released to solo driving.

Pay

• Experienced drivers earn a $250 pre-tax daily guarantee
• Average gross earnings of $1,500–$1,750 per week
• Earn $90,000 or more annually
• Daily pay period runs from Sunday through Saturday
• Student drivers are eligible once released to solo driving

Student Driver Pay Progression

• Starting solo pay: $200 per day
• After 90 days of solo driving: $225 per day
• After six months of solo driving: $250 per day

Daily guaranteed pay is subject to the eligibility requirements listed below.

Route Details

• Average length of haul: 200–275 miles
• Primary running areas: Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia and Ohio
• National Beef outbound loads with varying backhauls
• Approximately 90% drop-and-pickup freight
• Approximately 10% live unload
• No-touch freight

Home Time

Home time can be adjusted based on the driver’s needs and operational requirements. As a general guideline, drivers typically remain out for 10–14 days and earn approximately one day at home for each week on duty.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license
• Must meet National Carriers’ hiring and safety requirements
• Must be available to operate throughout the assigned region
• Must be willing to remain out for approximately 10–14 days
• Recent CDL school graduates are encouraged to apply
• Candidates living in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York or Maryland are preferred

Daily Pay Guarantee Requirements

To qualify for the daily guarantee, a driver must:

• Be available to run when legal driving hours are available
• Accept all dispatched loads
• Avoid preventable service failures
• Avoid preventable accidents
