Warehouse Admin
Job Summary: A Warehouse Admin at National Design Mart is responsible for ensuring accurate receipt, documentation, and processing of the materials within the warehouse. This role provides excellent customer service to all customers, manufacturers and installers. The Warehouse Admin assists with maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse.
- Administrative Duties (90%)
- Knowledge & Training (10%)
- Confirm accuracy and completeness of the bill of lading and all related documentation against the materials received.
- Monitor accuracy of work orders and pick tickets. Troubleshoot and resolve receiving discrepancies or issues.
- Utilize company ticket system (HappyFox) and company flooring software (RFMS) to track and manage warehouse documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments and locations to maintain consistency of returns and claims per established procedures.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. Adhere to safety standards and dress code, including high-visibility clothing and steel-toed boots.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role preferred. Experience in the flooring industry preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented mindset. Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing and/or walking for up to 4 hours consistently.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly and without assistance. Regular kneeling and bending.
- Ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time.
- Pushing and pulling items of various weights and sizes multiple times daily.
Work Environment:
- Office/Warehouse
Work Schedule:
- Full Time, Monday – Friday, 7am-3:30pm
- 30 minute uninterrupted lunch break
- Annual inventory procedures may require evenings or weekends.
