Position Summary
This is an ONSITE position located in Washington, D.C.
ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED.
NCC is seeking candidates for a Senior Unified Communications Engineer to provide direct technical direction and analysis for telecommunication activities including planning, designing, configuring, integrating, installing, and maintaining voice, video, and data telecommunications/communications networks and services with computer systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical/management leadership on technology assignments
- Establish goals and plans that meet project objectives
- Provide strategic and technical guidance to program and project staff
- Analyze network performance, usage, and traffic flows, accesses and interfaces, transmission techniques, and protocols
- Provide detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for improvements, optimization development and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues
- Partner with client to define need and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to recommend solutions
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Active Top Secret security clearance REQUIRED, and willingness to obtain a TS/SCI CI Polygraph.
- BA/BS in related field with 10 years of Unified Communications experience.
- Proven decision making abilities
- Expert knowledge of telecommunication systems, networks, etc.
- Demonstrated strict attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to collaborate with all levels of the organization
- Strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, and communication skills
- Effective delegation skills
