Position Summary
National Capitol Contracting is seeking Foundry Developer II to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and help bring cutting edge data analytics and dashboards to the Navy Fleet Shipyards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Palantir Foundry applications that deliver end-to-end operational value
- Build and optimize data pipelines and transform using Python within Foundry
- Integrate with external systems and APIs and manage data connections
- Implement automated testing
- Document technical designs and maintain knowledge artifacts in Foundry resource folders
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical designs
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and monitor performance and data quality
- Participate in code reviews; document solutions and follow best practices
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Active Top Secret Clearance required
- 4 years of data engineering experience, software development, or analytics engineering
- Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry (pipelines/transforms, data modeling/ontology concepts)
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Proven experience building data pipelines and data models
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
Compensation:
$150,000-$160,000
