Duties
- Lead on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to optimize timelines and resource allocation.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Oversee construction site safety compliance, conducting regular inspections and addressing hazards proactively.
- Review construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and contracts to verify accuracy and clarity before execution.
- Monitor project budgets using Construction management software and HeavyBid to control costs effectively.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
- Utilize ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, Civil 3D, and other industry tools for document control, RFIs, submittals, and project updates.
- Facilitate project meetings to track progress, resolve issues promptly, and keep all stakeholders informed.
- Lead project scheduling efforts focusing on construction schedule coordination and critical path analysis.
- Manage project documentation including change orders, daily reports, safety records, and progress photos.
Experience
- Extensive experience managing commercial construction projects with a focus on infrastructure or large-scale developments.
- Proven ability to manage teams in a construction management role, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
- Deep understanding of construction estimating, cost management, project scheduling, and budget control.
- Hands-on experience with construction site operations including blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
- Familiarity with construction regulations, safety standards (OSHA), and environmental compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Procore, Bluebeam, Prolog, Civil 3D or equivalent tools.
- Strong background in managing complex infrastructure projects with multiple stakeholders involved.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of contracts negotiation and administration within the context of commercial construction projects.
