Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for logistical and sales support by morning driver checkouts and coordinating sales, reset, and merchandising efforts. This position also serves as a relief sales representative as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Morning Driver Checkouts: Verify driver readiness each morning, including route assignments, vehicle inspections, inventory loads, and documentation to ensure timely and accurate departures for delivery routes.
- Act as lead for sales team by providing aid, training, and monitoring performance.
- Reset stores, including planning and executing product resets, merchandising displays, and maximizing shelf space to optimize product placement and drive sales performance.
- Act as a relief sales representative during absences or peak periods, handling customer inquiries, order processing, and relationship management.
- Communicate with Sales Representatives regularly regarding new sales and space opportunities.
- Participate in sales meetings and share ideas.
- Other duties as assigned by Branch Manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in business or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in beverage or grocery industry.
- Valid driver's license with less than 5 points and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push or pull up to 50lbs.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend and reach for extended periods throughout the workday.
