DESCRIPTION: The Facilities Coordinator role is responsible for executing all maintenance and cleaning upkeep of the NBPA’s World Class Facility.. The role is “customer” facing and requires a service-oriented demeanor. The individual in this role is a forward thinker and anticipates issues before they arise.
LOCATION: New York City, NY
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
SALARY RANGE: $60-$63k
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Inspect the 5th, 6th and 12th floor spaces by conducting daily walk-throughs; not limited to assessing furniture, equipment, fixtures, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and BMS systems, etc.) to ensure optimal operating conditions.
- Oversee the day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of the following NBPA spaces:
- NBPA Court
- Player locker room
- 6th floor workout facility
- Restrooms
- Office spaces
- Ensure linens are washed in a timely fashion and stocked in the respective areas.
- Track inventory of facility supplies and submit orders through the Operations Assistant.
- Respond to maintenance service requests from staff members. Engage in situational awareness and provide recommendations. Submit “Aware” requests through the Durst portal if applicable. Coordinate with the 1133 property management office as needed on engineering and maintenance-related matters and service requests.
- Assess and schedule preventative repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Coordinate vendors performing work on-site and follow-up with post reporting to close out the invoice process.
- Provide facilities maintenance and porter support at events, meetings, programs, and team practices.
- Utilize Monday.com platform to input notes and updates where applicable, regarding Operations vendors and processes.
- Provide court coverage as needed.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proactive and a forward thinker
- Excellent attention to detail
