We are a fast-growing, family-owned operator of 20 Meineke automotive repair centers across multiple states. As we continue expanding, we are hiring a sales-driven Automotive Shop Manager to lead our Bridgeport (Store 2378) location in Tacoma.
About the Role:
Store 2378 is a high-volume, customer-focused, full-service automotive repair center. We perform everything from maintenance and diagnostics to advanced repairs, suspension work, and engine/transmission jobs. The Shop Manager is responsible for driving sales performance, leading a strong team, and overseeing all daily shop operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Lead the sales process: inspect, estimate, present, and close
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Ensure full digital inspections and clear presentation of all recommendations
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term trust
Operational Management:
- Oversee workflow, scheduling, and technician assignments
- Manage parts ordering, vendor communication, and inventory
- Ensure accurate documentation and high repair quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment
Team Leadership:
- Coach and develop service advisors and technicians
- Delegate responsibilities clearly and effectively
- Hold the team accountable to performance expectations
- Support hiring and onboarding as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong sales ability and confidence presenting repairs and services
- Previous automotive management or service advisor leadership experience
- High energy, professionalism, and strong multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to lead, coach, and hold a team accountable
- ASE certifications a plus but not required
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $75,000 – $100,000 per year, depending on experience
