The Arbor Day Foundation seeks a Marketing Specialist to act as a strategic partner across all products/brands, programs, and digital marketing efforts. The marketing specialist will execute effective marketing campaigns, analyze the impact, and support initiatives driven by the foundation. The successful candidate will play an integral role in building relationships and engaging with various teams across the foundation. Working closely with the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Specialist will be involved in multiple projects, from strategic to creative, to tactical. This individual is a champion of marketing solutions, finding new approaches, consistently being a problem solver, bringing new ideas, and sharing insight that will deliver for the department and the foundation. Strong attention to detail is required, a positive attitude, good written and verbal communication, and the desire to build bridges and forge relationships.
***YOU HAVE:***
- 2-3 years' experience in marketing strategy, project management.
- Work closely with cross-departmental teams on the development and implementation of marketing programs
- A creative yet analytical brain. You think towards the future but use data to inform your direction.
- Develop and communicate marketing plans, track results and use them to build success across the foundation
- Manage and track marketing budgets, contracts, and scope of deliverables to guide department goals and growth.
- A proven track record of problem-solving with an attitude open to suggesting and trying new things.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a range of individuals from managing agency partners to working with internal stakeholders
- Create and develop new creative for business units.
- A positive attitude and a desire to build better.
***YOU WILL:***
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing helping to drive priorities and ensure follow through
- Manage projects from start to finish. You know how to navigate workflows and deliverables for campaigns while keeping parties involved through effective communication along the way.
- Help drive strategy. Informing strategic direction to develop and successfully implement campaigns will live in your wheelhouse.
- Drive analytics. You know the why behind every decision we make. You will conduct A/B testing and assess engagement.
