The Lied Lodge resides within the 260 acres of Arbor Day Farm in Nebraska City, NE, which is a property owned & operated by the Arbor Day Foundation. It was created to give guests a place to experience nature in a comfortable setting. A natural setting and exceptional service make Lied Lodge unique to our guests. Lied Lodge is regionally recognized & offers 140 guest rooms, over 14,000 square feet of meeting space, and hosts a diverse audience of business and leisure guests 365 days a year. The Lied Lodge is looking for a Housekeeping Inspector to help lead the Housekeeping team.
· Full-time, non-exempt position
· Varied schedule, but mostly daytime hours
· Evenings, weekends, and holidays
You Have:
Minimum Experience. You have one year of housekeeping experience.
Exceptional Service skills. You are a highly dynamic, fun, and engaged leader who can help us ensure our Team Members and guests both have positive experience.
Communication skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. As well as, problem solving skills and make decisions.
Leadership skills. Ability to lead and develop a team. Enjoy taking initiative and able to delegate responsibilities in a positive manner.
Empathy. Great listening skills and the ability to make Team Members and guests feel hear and understood.
Flexible Mindset. Willingness to learn and be flexible with changes.
Ability to work in the U.S. You will be able to provide necessary i9 documentation, if selected within 3 days of start date.
You Will:
Lead. Train, lead, coach, and support Team Members.
Manage. Be in charge of administrative components of day-to-day housekeeping operations.
Collaborate with other departments. Maintain a professional standard and representation of Lied Lodge. Maintain positive working relationships with Maintenance and Front Desk team.
Assist staff in a variety of functions. Prioritize training, room inspections, and service recovery.
Be a team player. Learn & take on roles within the Housekeeping team as needed (Guestroom Attendant, Laundry, etc.)
