Our organization is looking for an energetic and positive Elementary PE Coach to lead games, sports, and activities for grades TK–5. No teaching credential required — just a big heart, strong leadership, and a love for keeping kids moving!

- Teach fun and engaging PE lessons that are provided to you (think soccer, basketball, tag games, fitness challenges, and more).
- Encourage teamwork, fair play, and confidence in every student.

- Organize and maintain equipment so it’s ready for action.
- Be a role model for active living and a healthy lifestyle.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children (coaching, teaching, camp counselor, or recreation programs).
- Enthusiasm for sports, fitness, and movement.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to create a fun, inclusive, and structured environment.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to get it).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and implement physical education lessons that are developmentally appropriate and aligned with school standards.
- Introduce students to a variety of physical activities and fitness concepts.
- Create an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment that encourages participation by all students.
- Supervise students during physical activities, ensuring safety and positive behavior.
- Maintain and organize PE equipment and ensure proper use.
- Provide feedback to students to support skill development and growth.
- Collaborate with staff and administration to support school-wide programs and events.
- Comply with all school policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, physical education, recreation, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged children (teaching, coaching, or recreation).
- Knowledge of physical education concepts, fitness, and age-appropriate activities.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).
Work Conditions
- Position includes both indoor and outdoor activities throughout the school year.
- Requires standing, movement, and physical participation in activities.
- Must be able to lift and set up PE equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
