Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our security operations in the Doral area. This position is ideal for a proactive, results-oriented leader with a proven background in team development, client engagement, and operational management. The Operations Manager will drive compliance, optimize efficiency, and strengthen Nation Security’s commitment to safety, exceptional service, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, service quality, and team performance.
- Lead, coach, and manage security personnel—including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance oversight.
- Partner with clients to evaluate security needs and create customized protection plans.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with law enforcement, emergency responders, and community partners.
- Identify risks and implement proactive mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and state security regulations.
- Prepare operational reports, incident analyses, and performance summaries for senior leadership.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to support ongoing improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in private security or a similar operational environment.
- Demonstrated success leading diverse teams in fast-paced, high-pressure settings.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-relationship-building skills.
- Strong understanding of security operations, compliance standards, and Florida regulations.
- Proficiency with scheduling tools, reporting systems, and security management technologies.
- Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, or equivalent (preferred).
- Familiarity with FDACS regulations is required.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
